Hey all!!!

Many of you may not aware of this, but I was extremely ill for about six months. I had to undergo a series of tests for an unknown ailment that left me in a weakened state and uncertain about the future.

I spent a lot of time with doctors and specialists, and no one could tell me what was wrong. As preliminary tests started ruling out the less series issues, concerns about whether or not I had cancer, kidney failure, or some severe internal infection that was resistant to antibiotics became more and more likely.

A few weeks ago, I saw a specialist that ran an ultrasound on my bladder and saw slivers of something inside me. She gave me some new antibiotics, we scheduled some further testing, and then she sent me on my way.

I started feeling better on the new antibiotics, and I was able to return to work with minimal restrictions. Soon afterwards, I started feeling better. On the morning of my first test, the doctor told me she was pretty sure she knew what was going on, and that it wasn't going to be cancer or organ failure, but it might require surgery.

I got my test results back a few days later and what they found was a kidney stone that broke and was causing lacerations in my kidney. The fragments moved into my bladder causing infection and bleeding there as well. Both of these issues led to an on-going infection. Fortunately, she told me that scar tissue has pretty much cocooned them, and they aren't causing any more damage. Surgery, at this point, would result in unnecessary trauma, so they are going to leave them where they are for the time being.

I'm trying to catch-up and finish the areas I started before all this happened, so you might see me doing copyovers and stuff, but I might not be interacting as much with y'all since I'm trying to really limit the amount of distractions. I just didn't want you all to think I abandoned you, or the game, and that I am now ignoring everyone.

Can't wait to see you all again and meet some of the new folks that joined us! I'll have an update on what I'm working on very soon that will be similar to the NMD previews I provided prior to its release, so stay tuned for that!!! I'll also be helping Dayrinni with some of the RP events he's been running as well as running a few of my own.
