Website Update Overview

Hello!

This is a brief post that will explain what we're doing for the website:

Manual:
-Updating it for current mechanics.
-Cleaning a few things up - ie: typos, edits, wording, structure here or there.
-Largely, it isn't changing. It's purpose is to be a complete description of how things work in the game. The help files, which are in the game, are more for bit sized pieces to do what you wanna do. If you want to know the in's and out's you go the manual. Typically, when you're reading help files in the game, you're actually playing the game. When you're typically reading the website, you're not playing the game. So this is a clean delineation between the two and what roles they perform.
-Let's talk about the Race and Class pages a bit. The Race pages are going to remain brief like they are today. They'll be edited and have a few more small sections (namely, racial names suggestions; roll up will reflect this too and in the proper order). The purpose of keeping them small is for new players to read them and get a good idea of the race quickly - instead of having to read pages upon pages and pages upon pages of text. They can skim through all the races quickly and get interested in the game. More racial history will be on the lore section. For classes, this is a tough one because they're mostly mechanical stuff so they're more detailed and complex. So I'll need to figure something out here, perhaps have an Overview section at the start of each page and then a more in-depth section after.

Lore:
-We are gonna be redoing the order and structure of this, as well as editing/proofreading/etc, and adding more information. For example, General History will appear at the very top of the list.
-The Lore Timeline will be fleshed out. Some entries will be more detailed than others right away. But regardless, after, you'll be able to know pretty much the highlights of each Age. We will expand upon these in the future.
-Lore will always be added to the page.
-The Lore page is considered IC information BUT it is up to you, as the player, to decide if your character would know such a thing. That's part of the RP. Just be mindful of things like that. ie: a Disorain Rogue probably wouldn't know about the inner workings of the Arcane Order.
-We will put as much as possible in the game itself, but that is hard for certain reasons, ie: if the Library of Eridan has a lot of texts but that isn't actually in the game...no way to visit it, etc.

General Website Stuff:
I'm going to work on making clearer breaks between sections so it's easier to read and follow. And add some more pictures here or there (hard to do since we can only use 'free' images).
